An Update- Why is nothing happening with Tactile Goods??
So if you actually read this over the past few months you probably noticed a lack of posts about Tactile Goods. Well, let me explain. Until a few weeks ago both Keith and I were extremely busy with our day jobs. Keith was working 60+ hours a week for a Construction Document Set deadline and I was helping with that project and also working on a few other freelance jobs.
Luckily for Tactile Goods (but unluckily for my bank account) I’m now only working a few days a week. So I’m trying to focus more on developing some new designs for Tactile Goods. The problem is that it’s so unmotivating to work at home! With no one to show what I’m working on and a big apartment that seems to always need cleaning I don’t get anything done. But I have a solution- I’ve worked out a sweet deal with two of my friends that I went to school with, Tony & Tina from P.S.Design / The Makery. Until I start school in the fall I’ll be sharing their studio space at The Fringe Movement – a shared artist/design studio.
I’m extremely excited about this opportunity because it means you’ll see some new products/projects rather soon for Tactile Goods and maybe some collaboration with The Makery…more to come about this in the future!
